In this week’s episode, we talk about something that gets a little heavy: grief and loss.

We all have experienced loss in one way or another. If you have not, well, best believe you will, eventually. I’m joined by Bimpe, a good friend of mine, and we have a conversation inspired by the popular music artist Davido’s son, who died recently, and the Itaewon Halloween disaster. Both these incidents resulted in the loss of lives and have affected people in one way or another.

The episode begins on a light note. With two friends catching up and sharing experiences. Bimpe has a dog! Yes, a whole woofman!!! LOL! We both hope to visit Nigeria together one day. We talk about the changes that are there, especially at the airport. (I recently traveled to Nigeria for a funeral). Going back home makes my heart ache and, at the same time, makes me grateful for all I have. Here’s a travel tip: find someone from the airport who can help you with everything. It makes it easier.

Anyway, that was a mini catch-up, back to today’s conversation. When we lose something or someone, grief is inevitable. How you grieve is another matter altogether. Grief affects us differently.
