Nkechi Blessing Ugboaja (aka Kosi) is a fantastic wife and mother to two adorable little girls. Unfortunately, she was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, which fortunately was caught early after she noticed lumps in her breast. She visited a doctor who told her not to be worried, but she remained concerned due to her knowledge of medical research from her work, so she persisted until the doctors took her seriously.
She shares how when she and her husband first found out, he was worried, and the onus was on her to explain to him that the diagnosis was early and treatment still had a high likelihood of success. However, she has not spoken to her little girls about it because they are still too young to grasp the information.
