“Everybody ages, right? It’s all relative. People you knew growing up are getting older, as are you. Those younger than you are also aging. Time catches up, but you do your best to slow the process.”— TDawg (2024)

“To be honest, I still don’t get the concept of a midlife crisis. That sudden, ‘Oh my God, I’m 40 now. Which way, O Lord?’ feeling. No. I feel blessed. I’ve lived a full life so far with no regrets. Why worry about what’s to come?” — TDawg (2024)

Today, I am thrilled to have a special guest who is near and dear to my heart — my wonderful husband, Taiwo, affectionately known as TDawg. Turning 40 is a significant milestone, and for TDawg, this May was filled with celebrations and reflections. Despite his busy work schedule, which spanned over 36 days with minimal breaks, TDawg managed to soak in the joy of this milestone. Reflecting on his 30th birthday, which we celebrated at Dave & Buster’s in Austin, he shared how this decade feels different yet equally significant. The 40th birthday party was a grand affair, far exceeding his expectations. From meticulous planning to branded drinks, every detail was perfect. Friends and family from all over gathered to celebrate with us. The event was not just a party but a reunion filled with love and laughter.
