In this episode, Nancy Mulemwa is our guest, and we have a conversation centered around immigration and life as a dreamer. A woman was born and raised in an African country called Zambia; she later migrated to America and settled in New York, where she has lived for the past 20 years.

She narrates how she grew up and how her childhood, in so many ways, influenced who she wanted to become and what she wanted to do with her life. She grew up in the rural parts of her country and her mother and grandmother, both entrepreneurial, did business to get her and her siblings by.
