Last week, we featured a special Father’s Day episode discussing Mr. Cole’s inspiring journey and triumph over prostatectomy cancer. This week, we had the pleasure of hosting another remarkable prostate cancer survivor, Mr. Tommy Mitchell. Mr. Mitchell has been courageously living with prostate cancer for over twenty-four years. He’s an accomplished individual, having graduated from Florida A&M University and holding various leadership roles throughout his career.

While at the university, Mr. Mitchell made significant contributions, serving as a director of the Black male college Explorers Program and the Community Development Corporation. His outstanding achievements have been recognized through numerous awards and…
