“How did you meet?’ is arguably one question that couples get asked the most. Yet, the beautiful thing about a love story is that it is always unique to the individuals involved. My guest, B, shared her own unique story of how she said no consistently for one year before she and her husband eventually got married.

B, my guest, chose to be anonymous because of the vulnerability of her story. A friend’s sister and also an ardent supporter of the podcast, B shared her story and some of the lessons she learned leading up to her marriage. As she said in this episode, her relationship is not a template for every relationship, but you can learn many engaging lessons from her stories. You will find even some very relatable. Like every young woman, B had a list of the kind of man she wanted to get married to. However, the way her husband asked her out was a big turn-off for her, and she pushed him away until she clearly came around to saying yes.
