Of fraudulent visas, lawyers, rejected green cards, and near deportations

A bit about this lawyer, he is of African descent with the first name “B,” and he practices on the East Coast. His preys are often African immigrants in the health sector (nurses, pharmacists, and doctors). Steer clear of him! He is nothing but a parasitic leech who has skimmed tons of people (a fact we, unfortunately, got to know after the fact). I reported him to the Bar (wrote a lengthy letter and all), but sadly, nothing much came of this.

Not many people know this story, but my husband and I had an interesting experience while relocating to the United States. Even though we had friends and family who supported us throughout the journey, I recently realized while talking to a friend about her own experience that some people still feel very alone in this.

Tdawg, my husband, joined me in this episode to discuss our immigration experience. Tdawg, in particular, has always wanted to move to the United States, but I wasn’t too keen on that country. He attempted to travel several times through visits, conferences, and research, but his visa was denied each time (twice).
