Parenting a child, whether biological or adopted, is pretty much the same. Trust your instinct. If you feel like you are doing things that are not in the best interest of the child, take a step back and address your motives — TDawg

In this episode, we have my husband of 11 years, TDawg, last seen here two seasons ago. We will be exploring one of my favorite things about him: fatherhood. TDawg and I finalized the adoption of our daughter two months ago after fostering her for two years.

I have known TDawg for 18 years, and we have been many things to each other. He has been my French student, brother (in Christ), father, husband, advisor, and lover at various points. And I’ve seen him perform his duty as an uncle, son, and nephew. Children love him deeply, and in this episode, he shares his experience of fathering an adopted child, especially as a man who, like many, took the time to be open to adoption.
